Millie recently had her Christmas dance recital. She did a great job, but all I got to record was the first thirty seconds, after that my memory in my camera was full! (Insert swear words here, and a few tears) But she really did a great job and looked so cute! Way to go Millie!

My baby (don't tell Wesley I called him that) officially got to go to the "big school" He has been so excited, and he is loving it! He has a great teacher, and I didn't even cry when I dropped him off the first day. I was so proud of myself. He was just so excited, that I was excited for him. The fact that my baby is in kindergarten still isn't as weird as the fact that my oldest is in Jr.High!

Catch-up

Okay, so it's been like forever since my last Blog post, so here's the catch-up. We finished Baseball in the middle of July. Jesse's team went to the state tournament and lost to the same team we lost to last year, but they had a great season and we are going to miss our team. We became kind of just a big family after playing together for two years. Most of the team will move up into the next league next year but there is no guarantee of keeping them together. Tate's team played great all season and went undefeated, until the city tournament. They didn't make it to the state level, but they had a great season. He will also move up a league next year and hopefully he will be able to play on the team that Jesse just played for, with the kids who won't be moving up. WE went on our annual family trip to Annabella mountain this year, and had a GREAT time! I can't tell you how much I LOVE that mountain. We took our neighbors, the Marcons, up at the end of July and had another great week up there. The kids caught over 15 fish in 2 hours one morning, and Jesse wanted to eat the liver out of his fish, but we didn't let him. The kid won't eat chocolate, but he wanted to eat the liver right out of the fish he just caught??? Tate and Jesse both did cook and eat one of their fish for dinner that night. We had so much fun and I was soooooo not ready to come home. I wish I could go back up right now! I can't believe summer is almost over, it has gone so fast, but the thoughts of Fall, I have to admit, make me very excited (sorry mom, I know you hate that word, but I LOVE it, FALL, FALL, FALL:) I'll try to do better as far as posting goes, I have drastically cut back on my work at least until after the kids go back to school, so I should have more time to actually take pictures and add to our blog. I'd say I promise, but you all know me, it'll happen when it happens, but I can promise that I'll always let you know!

Baseball season has started,
and Jesse has received his first battle wound.
While warming up before a game,
One of his team members threw a wild and crazy ball,
and as you can see, Jesse stopped it,
WITH HIS FACE!
The red dots you see are from the laces
on the baseball.
It hit him that hard!
The coaches were amazed that it didn't knock him out.
But, Jesse toughed it out and even played in the game.
(His coach told him if he couldn't see good, to just aim at the ball in the middle.)
Way to be tough Jesse!
This picture reflects the true Millie better than any other.
AHHHHHHH!

Fun at Hogle Zoo!

Yep, that's MY Wesley, you'll have to get your own!

Well, after much consideration
(mostly on my part),
it was decided that Wesley
would be allowed to graduate from pre-school.
Congratulations Wesley!

Okay, so I've been working for about a month now, and I am still undecided as to whether or not I like it. I like being able to talk to grown ups and it gets me out out the house. The down side is that most days my house looks like a bomb hit it, I don't have anywhere enough time to get the things I need to do done, and older people seem to really like cats, and if you know me you know how I feel about cats. But I do get to help people and I love that part of my job. It really feels good to help someone that is being taken advantage of, which for some reason people to to seniors A LOT! It's pretty sad.
So baseball season has started, and both boys are on really good teams, I think they will both be going to the state tournament this year, that'll be CRAZY! But I love it.
I have now mowed my lawn two times , I get to go to the ball fields almost every night, life is GOOD!

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I PASSED my test!!! That was worse than childbirth with no epidurial. So now I'm off to join the workforce.
To Be continued...

Jesse is 12, holy crap!!! I can't believe it. He was ordained a Deacon, and will be passing the sacrament this Sunday. Doesn't he look handsome in his suit? This is just too weird!

Sorry followers, I hate to be a slacker, but I really have been busy. I have been trying to get a license from the state so I can make some $$$. I have been taking test after test, and my brain is on overload. I will be taking my final test on Tuesday, so anyone that wants to pray for me is welcome to do so. I promise to be better after all this is done. Wish me luck!!!

My give a Damn's Busted

After this last month that is truly how I feel. Do you ever just wonder "what next?" and then Heavenly Father shows you? That is how it has been lately. But the one really good thing about hard times, is that you get to see how many people care about you. Thank's for all the love and support, it really has been appreciated. So bring it on, I'm not going to stress about it anymore, at least I'm gonna try not to.

6 Random Things

6 random things

1- Post the rules on your blog.
2- List 6 random things about yourself.
3- Tag 6 people at the end of your post.
4- Let each person know they have been tagged.

#1- I have made it one it one full year being a Relief Society Teacher, without swearing while teaching my lesson! (My mom didn't think I could do it.)

#2- I will NOT eat red or blue M&M's. The red ones taste funny and I just don't want to eat the blue ones, food should not be that color.

#3- I am not dealing with the fact that my oldest child will be attending Jr. High this next school year. I am NOT old enough to have a child in Jr. High am I?

#4- I was bored today and took one of those silly quizzes on Facebook called, "Could you kill someone?" , it said that I needed anger management, really, you think, have you been at my house at bedtime? The fact that no one has died yet tells me that I'm not doing too badly.

#5- I am totally paranoid that my husband is going to die. It causes me major anxiety, and I hate when he leaves to go more than 30 miles away, or for longer than a workday. I know Iam weird!

#6- Sometimes (actually A LOT of the time) I wish I was deaf. I know it's awful, but my children all talk A LOT and by the end of the day my ears hurt and my brain is on major overload. It would be nice to live in quite and just get to enjoy their beautiful faces and not have to hear all the noise.

Okay I have to rant for just a minuite, the Dr. at the emergency room in A.F. is an idiot! When we were there the other night he told me that if they did the test for meningitis that we would most likely be admitted. So he did the test, which consisted of him inserting a large needle into Stevens back and getting a sample of spinal fluid, they told us that we were being admitted and then about 30 minuits later the Dr. comes in and tells that whatever Steven has, it IS NOT meningitis and that we are being discharged and to follow up with ouf family Dr. in two days. So two days later, and Steven is still not feeling any better, we go to see our family Dr. and he pulls the labs from the E.R. and proceeds to tell us that Steven DOES have meningitis and that he never should have been released from the hospital! Apparently the E.R. Dr. took the spinal fluid sample , but never bothered to get the results, and just sent us home! If it had been bacterial Steven could have died! So the moral of my story is, if you have to go the E.R. in American Fork, and your Dr. is Mich Jones- ASK FOR ANOTHER DR.!

And the winter drags on.....

So it's been awhile since my last blog entry, but sadly nothing much has changed. Why is winter so boring? I don't have any new pictures to share because, seriously who wants to take pictures when it's just hazy grey skies and dirty snow. I think we should do a "Spring dance", you know like a rain dance, but for Spring. I am still looking for a job, and that has been taking up a lot of my time so uh, that's why I have been a slacker where blogging concerned.
You know that your life is sad when the only thing exciting you've done lately is visit the emergency room. Well that is where I got the pleasure of spending last night. Steven came home from work on Tuesday and looked like death. The whites of his eyes were completely red. He went to bed and I couldn't get him so wake up long enough to have a drink. He continued to get worse and was in a lot of pain. When I checked on him last night he actually asked to go to the Dr., fir those of you who know Steven, he DOES NOT go to Dr.'s. I knew that there had to be something really wrong if he was willing to go. He was in so much pain, it was awful to watch him, it really scared me. He did not have the flu, he did not have strep, and he did not have meningitis, he has some kind of infection somewhere but they don't know exactly where. He is doing better today and hopefully will keep feeling better. Thank you to Bro. Sargent and Bro. Gamble for coming to give him a blessing, I'm sure with out it we'd still be at the hospital, before they came we were told we were being admitted, and after the blessing his fever started going down and he was able to talk to us and tell us how he was feeling. Thank goodness for the priesthood and the men who hold it!

Anybody else ready for Spring?

I was thinking this morning, as I looked out the window and couldn't see the house across the street due to this horribly depressing, suffocating haze, that I am done with Winter. That got me thinking about my plans for my world (yes, one day I WILL have my own world). I thought I might share my plans with all of you.
1. No one will have any hair.
2. Everyone will be Naked.
(Note on first two rules, no I am not a perv who wants to see hairless naked people, but just think of how much time, effort, money and frustration we would all save if we
didn't have to worry about our hair, or what to wear. And if no one ever wore clothes
it wouldn't be weird. Obviously though our bodies would need to be tweeked a bit.)
3. Winter would only last from Thanksgiving to New Years and then we would just move
right into Spring until, lets say June when Summer would start and last until the first
of August when Fall would start and last until Thanksgiving and we started all over.
4. We can eat what we want when we want and, as long as your a nice person, you get to
to be skinny, Yeah!!!!
Now doesn't that sound like a good place to live? You're all welcome to come and visit me in my world anytime.
By the way, I am in desperate need of a job so if anyone knows anything that I should know, feel free to let me know.

Our year in review. Hope you had as much fun as we did

We went 4-wheeling out at five mile pass on New Years Day, We had a great time, and the weather was great. And not once did Steven succeed in flipping me off the tube!

We had a great Christmas!
I finally painted my bedroom after 8 years!

We had a interesting Halloween. Me and the kids were out trick-or-treating, and I got a phone call from Steven saying that our dog, Marley, already had one puppy and to hurry home. She ended up having 10 puppies! We had alot of fun with them and I even miss them.
Steven did (and is still doing) his part to keep the bird population down

Wesley got to go hunting with dad and grandpa

We hiked to a waterfall up by Aspen Grove, and I got a HUGE reminder of how out of shape I am!

Steven got an elk, maybe this year he'll draw out on Monroe.

We went
camping on Anabella mountain over the 4th of July. We saw a lot of wildlife, and totally enjoyed being away from things. It's what our family looks forward to each year. We went fishing a few times, and even caught a few fish.

Wesley catches a fish Utah Lake (He's got some style!)

We had a cold start to our baseball season. I hope we don't have the same kind of weather this year. We've had games rained out, but this last season we had games that were snowed out, in MAY!

My dad helped coach both the boys teams. They both did great. Jesse's team took 2nd place it state.

I can't wait to start it all over again, except all four of my kids want to play this year, this is gonna get crazy!
