Our Boating Experience
We've had Steven's dads pontoon (don't know if I spelled that right) boat here for a few days, Steven and the kids REALLY wanted to take it out on the Lake. So we packed up a lunch (thanks to Subway) and headed out to the American Fork boat harbor. We get there and there is half of Utah County there so we drive in turn around and decide to go to Provo boat harbor instead, we get there, it's somewhat less crowded, so we decide; let's go for it. We back the truck into the water while Millie is whimpering in the back seat because she thinks we're going to back into the water and drowned, and Wesley keeps saying "I want my sandwich right now" and poor Tate is stuck in the middle. So Steven climbs into the boat lowers the motor turns the key and NOTHING! He tries and tries, and in the meantime in the truck we say a prayer that the boat will start. I realize that Heavenly Father was probably thinking "yeah right, you skipped church to go to the lake and now you want my help to make the boat start?" it's called faith duh! I figured maybe we'd get some points for having a family outing. Well the boat won't start so we pull it out of the water and mess with it on land, and it finally turns over a few timed so we back it back into the water and guess what, it doesn't start! Steven tries and tries again then finally I, yes I, pulled the boat up the dock and up to the parking lot.(That my not seem like a big deal to some of you but that is the farthest I have ever pulled a trailer, let alone one loaded with a HUGE boat on it, I was pretty proud.) Back to my story, well we ate our lunch on the boat in the parking lot and Steven decided he'd try one more time, so we back the boat back into the water again and, well those of you who know our family can probably guess that the boat didn't start. So three hours after leaving our house, we headed home full, but not satisfied, maybe we'll try again next weekend, but with our luck the boat will probably sink!

Jesse, the oldest in our parade, loves any kind of game system, and playing baseball
Tate, loves playing with his friends, playing baseball, ands fishing with his dad
Millie, the only girl loves, HERSELF, stamping, drawing, dancing singing and playing with friends
Wesley, the youngest in our parade loves fishing with his dad, camping, and anything to do with the out doors.
